14: Overmind

Distant future. A black hole emerges in Earth’s orbit, releasing a huge amount of anomalous energy. Earth and everything near it is destroyed. Near the spaceship “Miner”, surrounded by debris, an engineer comes to his senses, left completely alone. He remembers nothing about who he is, where he came from, or how he ended up here, in the cold, endless space… The only thing that guides him is the instinct for survival and the desire to find answers to the questions: what really happened and why did he survive?
