The Lost draws strong inspiration from Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy, particularly Inferno. Set in the present day, the story follows Amanda Wright, a waitress and medical student grappling with the recent tragic loss of her only daughter...
The Lost was an action adventure/survival horror game co-developed by Irrational Games (the makers of Bioshock) and FXLabs. Set to be released in 2002 for the Playstation 2 and Xbox game consoles, The Lost went through several phases of development hell until it was cancelled. FXLabs bought everything related to The Lost in 2008 and finished the game, releasing it as AGNI on PC.
